FIVE months!!!

5 months....i really can't believe it. i think i have the happiest boy & baby girl on the block! they are just rays of sunshine to us every day. their smiles are so contagious & their hearts just grow bigger & bigger. 

i thought i would give a little update on each one below. 

miss fran: she loves her bouncy seat first thing in the morning, she follows henry around with her eyes at all times, she doesn't show too much interest in trying to sit up but she sure has mastered her tummy time, she is starting to learn how to put the paci in her mouth when she is in her car seat, she loves her sophie the giraffe, the wheels on the bus is a great tune to calm her down & she will give you the biggest smile you've ever seen when she wakes up in the morning!

mr. hen: curious george is still by far his favorite tv show, he is starting to learn to stay in his room till 7am thanks to his new clock that turns green at the right time, lucy goosey is still his first choice for a playdate, chipotle is his favorite lunch/dinner spot, his Cars movie cars are the number one toy to play with, his coloring skills have greatly improved, & every night before bed he gives us a hug, high five & a kiss!

 

 

we started rice cereal memorial weekend! every time i would sit near her to eat she would just stop what she was doing and completely stare so i thought- why not? let's try it! the first attempt on saturday was a total no go so i waited two days & tried again on monday when it was just us two here. she did really well with it - much better than i expected. she continued to have it everyday at school so we know have a new step in our day!

 this is her usual head position in whatever place she is in.....she is always straining her neck to find henry. i guess you can't help but look for him when he is talking all the time!!

 her face & position look like "i'm gonna get you!" just this weekend she started to get up on her knees & push herself forward. no rocking yet but she looks like she is trying to do that motion.

 HAPPY girl.....she is always so smiley

i was having a "photo shoot" & luckily i was able to catch her in action in her rolling sequence. for the past two weeks this is the first thing she does if you lay her on her back.  no more hanging on the sofa solo!
