yes.....still here

hello friends....we are still here but just still crazy busy. carrie is traveling out of town every week with the new j-o-b and stephen is playing an awesome role at daddy daycare (as he likes to call it). Brett & I are juggling between several work events lately for both of us and trying to prepare for this house renovation we are about to embark on (yikes!).....BUT through it all we just want you to know that we are loving this weather, outside at every moment possible, soaking up time with our new 4 yr old Goose, and having tons of FUN! we'll check back soon with new pics....hopefully ;)

awesome sunday

we couldn't have asked for a more perfect weekend to celebrate Easter. it was absolutely gorgeous. we had the annual Easter egg hunt at the schwab's & Hen was totally into it. it was so fun this year since he "got it"- or at least the egg hunting concept & the goodies in his Easter basket. sorry for the late entry but life has been super busy in the woodard & boner households lately with work, travel, family & birthday celebrations. i wanted to get these few Easter shots up first & then more of march & april to come!

the cutest little girl in town turns the big FOUR tomorrow. i can't believe it has already been four years. it seems like just yesterday stephen walked out of the operating room covering up that pink bracelet on his wrist & asking us if we wanted to come meet "lucy". it brings tears to my eyes to just think back to that awesome day. Hen is working on a birthday letter so check back for more.

finally....sunshine!!

after months (or maybe just lots of weeks) of cold & rain we have finally seen the beautiful sun & a little bit of warmer weather around here! thank goodness! the past two weekends we have spent most of our time outside soaking up some good vitamin d. it is the first thing he wants to do when he wakes up on the weekends..."outside mommy, outside?"...seriously! at 7:30 this morning he headed to his closet, got his shoes & put them on himself (on top of the footed pj's) & told me he was ready to go. the explanation of having to wait a little while wasn't really to his liking- so instead we headed to the grocery store! But really- he loves being outside which i am so thankful for. the golf clubs are constantly in his hand & he just takes a swing after swing.
we don't have much else to report except that he did start his new school at our church. they have opened up a full day program & we are really enjoying it. he made the transition really well & he loves going to "church school" as he calls it & carrying his lunch box in every day.

just a few pictures to show you what we have been doing in this sunshine lately.....the last two report our boo-boo that we got falling down the outside steps today at 5:30. it doesn't look that bad in the picture but i think tomorrow morning we might wake up to a black eye!

i've got video proof for one song on the above list & i am working on some film footage of the others......it's just kind of hard when every 10 seconds he says "i wanna see!"- meaning i want to watch the video. this child loves to look at himself on camera! enjoy this abc/eating turkey/part of the blessing clip (the battery ran out at the end- thats why it cuts off- uuurrggghhh)

we were lucky enough to have a long overdue play date with our (almost) sister lucy this past sunday. i was in the kitchen & didn't hear any noises. i knew to check in & this is what i found!! i wanted to join in but was afraid of breaking the furniture!!! i was thinking of taking them to monkey joe's for the afternoon but no need to when you have an ottoman & a sofa to keep you busy.
